Off the Clock
Things I love enough to put on the internet.
What I'm Listening To
I listen by feeling, not by genre. Live from my Spotify.

Watch
I watch people more than plots. My favorite shows have too many characters, overlapping relationships and at least three people making questionable decisions at once. Give me an ensemble cast, complicated friendships, family drama, and enough episodes to get emotionally attached.
Shows I Rewatch on Repeat
For sad days, lazy days, and the days I feel like a hopeless couch-potato blob. These always make me a little happier.

Inspiration

Inspiration
Some people have comfort shows. I have comfort TED talks.
-
Why I watch Psychology
I want to know why people do what they do: why we feel what we feel, choose what we choose, and keep coming back. One innocent question can become a 45-minute investigation, and these talks are where it usually starts.
-
Why I watch Learning
I started Girls Who Code chapters at two middle schools and grew them to 240+ girls. Ever since, I’ve been hooked on how people learn, and what makes learning actually stick.
-
Why I watch Creativity
I’m happiest taking something from “wait, what if…” to something you can actually see, use, or experience. These talks are about exactly that.
-
Why I watch Becoming
I’d rather temporarily suck at something interesting than only do things I already know how to do. These are the talks I go back to when being a beginner feels hard.
-
Why I watch Life & People
I care about my relationships more than almost anything. These talks ask what actually makes a life good, and the answer keeps coming back to people.
-
Why I watch Ideas & Brands
I want to know why some ideas become companies people can’t stop talking about. These are the founders who built them and the thinkers who explain why we buy, choose, trust and come back.

What I'm Reading
I read to figure things out.Sometimes it’s why a product works. Sometimes it’s why people work. Sometimes it’s why I keep doing something I know I shouldn’t. My bookshelf is business, behavior and rom-coms taking turns explaining the world to me.

So apparently, I have a type.
Different medium, same obsessions: people, why they do what they do, what they make, and what makes something worth coming back to.
-
Understanding
Rom-coms, ensemble shows, psychology books, emotionally specific lyrics
I’m endlessly interested in why people choose each other, misunderstand each other, and change.
-
Making
Product books, creativity talks, whole discographies
I like seeing how something goes from an idea to a thing people care about.
-
Feeling
Nostalgic songs, comfort shows, happy endings, books I reread
I don’t come back to things just because they’re “good.” I come back to things that make me feel something.
